There is a big difference between working in luxury and living in luxury. As an outsider from the yacht, it is easier to come in and explain what their job is and what is expected of them. I also help to reduce resistance from junior to senior crew and explain that taking feedback is part of their job.

Staff retention and turnover is a major challenge on yachts. We look at the reasons why and attempt to address them. We aim to help vessels to reduce conflict by improving communication between the crew. We continuously break things down and suggest ideas on how to communicate better. We cannot claim to eliminate disputes but to solve any problem, you have to understand it first.
